Walter Grzebieniak building Maintenance, Inc. provides the following services to the Chicago-Land area and the surrounding suburbs:

Tuck-pointing - Tuck-pointing is the age old art of filling in the mortar between bricks, stone and cement blocks that have been washed out or damaged due to age and weather related conditions. We use a struck- joint technique for a neat and new appearance of existing brick structures.

Brick, Stone and Cement Block Repair - With time and age, brick, stone and cement block can spall, crack and become loose. Spalling occurs when the face of the brick, block or stone wears away. We repair or replace brick, stone and cement block for cosmetic as well as energy efficient reasons.

Chimney and Parapet Wall Rebuilding - We rebuild and/ or repair chimneys, parapet walls, retaining walls as well as interior basements and partition walls.

Caulking - We caulk around seams of windows, doors, chimney bases and foundations to ensure a proper seal against the elements.

Water-Sealing - We water-seal brick, stone and cement block structures to provide moisture protection.

Pressure Washing/Hydro-Blasting - We perform pressure-washing as well as hydro-blasting to clean soiled brick, stone and cement block from paint, dirt, graffiti and other debris.

Lintel Replacement - We replace and reset window and door lintels that have become unstable due to age to ensure proper support of window frames and door frames.

After a building is tuck-pointed, caulked and sealed it is much more energy efficient.

After each day there is a thorough clean-up of the job site. We stay on the job until it is completed and the customer is satisfied. We specialize in Commercial, Industrial as well as Residential masonry needs.
